1. How do I know which premium to pay - $175 or $250?
All certified group exercise instructors are eligible for the $175 a year program pricing. Also, all trainers who are certified by these organizations: AAAI/ISMA, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, IFPA, ISSA, NASM, NASN, NCSF, NETA, NFPT, NHCA, NPTI, NSCA, SCW, WITS or College degree in exercise-related field also qualify to enroll at the $175 program pricing.

All other trainers pay $250. Please note, price may vary due to state taxes.

2. What forms of payment do you accept?
This special internet only insurance program for personal trainers and instructors is currently set up to process Visa and MasterCard.

3. Do I have to pay all up front?
Yes. The premium is not fully earned but the membership fee is fully earned. Return premium will be calculated on a short rate basis should you request your coverage to be canceled within the policy term. The membership fee is fully earned and will not be returned.

4. Will my partner/spouse be covered under this policy?
No, every trainer or instructor must sign up individually.

5. What liability limits are included with this policy?
This program has Commercial General Liability and Professional Liability Limits of $1,000,000 per Occurrence with a $3,000,000 policy aggregate. Limits can not be modified or changed.

6. Do you charge for certificates of insurance?
No, because you, the insured client, order your own certificate of insurance and complete the information on line, there is no charge.

7. How do I get Certificates of Insurance?

You can obtain a certificate of insurance two ways.

  1. When filling out the application, you can type in the name and complete address of any facilities requesting to be added as an additional insured on your policy. After purchasing, you can then click on "certificate of insurance" and print the ones you created.
  2. If you have already purchased insurance, you can Log In, and click on "certificate of insurance". From here you can create and type in the name and complete address of the facilities you need to add.

8. Where am I covered under this policy?
This policy is designed to cover you no matter what venue you choose to train at. Your home, your client's homes, recreation centers, outdoors and, of course, at any health club.

Personal trainers, group exercise instructors and martial arts instructors.
